Location: Rochdale (On-site – Tuesday to Thursday)

We’re looking for a Junior Project Manager who is well-spoken, confident, and eager to develop, with strong communication skills and a professional approach. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gain hands-on experience, and grow into a more senior delivery role over time.

What you’ll be doing

You will support and manage projects from planning through to delivery, helping ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

Support the planning and coordination of projects from initiation through to completion.
Assist in defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Track project progress, risks, issues, and actions, ensuring they are clearly documented and managed.
Work with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.
Support the preparation of project documentation, reports, and updates.
Help manage changes, dependencies, and priorities across multiple projects.
Contribute to project closure activities, including handover and lessons learned.
Provide clear and professional updates to internal stakeholders and management.

What you’ll be working on

You’ll be working across a mix of:

IT and technology delivery projects
Client-facing engagements
Internal business improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for

Essential

1–2 years’ experience in project support, administration, or coordination roles.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Confident using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A well-spoken, confident, and professional manner.
Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels.
A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
Ability to work on-site in Rochdale (Tuesday–Thursday).

Desirable

Exposure to project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, Waterfall).
Experience working in IT, MSP, or professional services environments.
