I am a hybrid candidate who is confident and capable in an Architectural/managerial or a technical hands-on role and capable of discussing technically with other technical teams. I am able to pick up new technologies and to grasp new client’s environment quickly as I have extensive hands-on experience with the below skillset:

·     Lead Infrstructure architect for over 2 years on the SoTF Unix and Windows migrations

·     Highly skilled with Infrastructure, hardware and software.

·     30 years+ commercial experience

·     Unix – HPUX – Redhat – AIX – Solaris – shell scripting.

·     Windows – basic admin. Powershell scripting.

·     Databases – Oracle and SQL

·     Networking- not a network admin but technically understands VLANS, load balancers (E.G F5’s) round robin, firewalls and VPNs.

·     Vmware/Hyper-V – can create VM’s and install images onto them. Understand how to utilise infrastructure resources (cpu, memory and virtual disks created from datastores).

·     Storage – HPE 3Par, HPE Alletra and EMC. Able to provision LUNs to servers and utilise the LUNs from a Unix or Windows perspective.

·     Cloud technologies – AWS and Azure. Devops (virtualisation/container) experience.
·     Security – Knowledge of physical access procedures and protocols when on secure sites. CIS standards – Pentest compliance checks – Nessus/Tenable

·     Resilience – Loss prevention/removal of single points of failure through design of Application / software / Physical hardware, multiphase electrical, multiple points withing the network infrastructure.

·      Monitoring – HP-SIM / HP-Oneview /HP-Openview – NNM (network node manager)/
