Salary
£25,000 – £32,000 basic (pro-rata, 2 days/week) + uncapped commission + bonuses OTE
Realistic OTE £38,000 – £50,000 for strong performers (full-time equivalent basis) Contract type
Permanent, Part-Time — 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday, office-based) Rochdale office —   on-site during initial period; hybrid flexibility considered after successful probation

Booking target 2–3 qualified discovery calls per day worked (6–10 per month)

With over 10 years of experience, we specialise in reliable managed IT support, Microsoft 365, Azure cloud solutions, cybersecurity, project delivery, legacy system modernisation and proactive service desk — all delivered by UK-only engineers with no offshore support.

We are now accelerating growth and building a dedicated outbound sales desk. In this frontline role you will generate qualified pipeline by making high-volume outbound calls, uncovering IT pain points — slow support, cyber risks, M365 challenges, offshore frustrations — and securing 15-minute discovery calls directly for senior leadership.

We believe SDRs should know exactly what they can earn. Our commission structure is straightforward and transparent and will be discussed at the interview.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Calling & Lead Qualification
•      Make 80–100 outbound dials per day worked

•      Book 2–3 qualified 15-minute discovery calls per day worked (target: 6–10 qualified meetings per month)

•      Uncover IT pain points — support frustration, cyber exposure, M365 underuse, offshore provider issues — and qualify decision-maker interest

CRM & Data Management
•      Log every call, outcome, notes, pain points and next steps in Pipedrive within 60 seconds of each call

•      Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo and other compliant sources to research and target the right decision-makers — bursars, IT coordinators, practice managers, IT directors

Team Collaboration & Development
•      Handle common objections confidently using our battle cards and training materials

•      Participate in daily 9:15 huddles, weekly 1:1s and Friday pipeline reviews

•      Contribute to the shared team goal of 40+ qualified opportunities per month across the full SDR team

What We’re Looking For

Essential
•      Proven experience in outbound telephone sales, cold calling, telesales or lead generation — B2B ideal, but strong call centre or telesales experience welcome

•      Excellent phone manner — clear, confident, resilient and able to bounce back quickly from rejection

•      Strong listening skills to quickly identify and probe IT pain points in a conversation

•      Comfortable hitting and exceeding daily activity KPIs across dials, conversations and bookings

•      Basic computer literacy and genuine willingness to learn our tools — Pipedrive, Aircall, LinkedIn Sales Navigator

•      Right to work in the UK and a reliable commute to our Rochdale office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

•      Coachable mindset — open to full training on script, product knowledge, GDPR compliance and objection handling

Desirable
•      Interest in IT services, cybersecurity, cloud (Microsoft 365 / Azure) or working with schools, professional services firms and public sector clients

•      Any B2B sales or lead generation experience in services or IT

•      Familiarity with CRM systems or outbound sales tools

•      Experience using LinkedIn for prospecting and decision-maker research

Working Pattern & Location

This is a permanent, part-time role — 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday), office-based at our Rochdale site. Standard hours apply with daily team huddles beginning at 9:15.

The role is fully office-based during your initial period with us. Hybrid flexibility may be considered after a successful probation for the right candidate. There is no long-distance commute — we are local to Greater Manchester.
